Free Yourself… Conversion of a prison in the historical centre in Lausanne for our proper use as an architectural office ‘NEWBABL’. The typology of cells is still perceivable by the visibly repaired cicatrices on the floors due to the partial removal of the walls. All superfluous elements have been stripped to gain back the real structure. A new elevator is installed, the main tool for Alexandre and Marco to survey the 4 levels of the building.
