Test study for a mixed pro­gram dens­i­fic­a­tion in the West Lausanne sub­urb­an area con­cern­ing the north­ern part of the Renens rail­way sta­tion which will be con­sid­er­ably increased in capa­city. A line of dif­fer­ent volumes with vari­ation in height par­al­lel to the rail track will pro­tect an inner zone. This urb­an ges­ture can help Renens to find its char­ac­ter in between city and sprawl.
